To Let Go or Not: The Right Thing to Do When Maids Suddenly Decided to Leave

Our maid is someone we rely on and saves us when our schedule becomes too tight. The person we always trust may turn out to be someone we now hate and for some reasons, our trust for her is already lost.

We made the right decision years ago when we chose her as a maid. She lived with us and took care of our children and elderly. Our maid came to know our culture and embraced the new family and her new country. She has become our friend and our kitchen pal. And one day, our maid suddenly opened up about leaving and going back to her country! As an employer, we’re very confused and lost.

Stay calm.
Talk with your helper and demand for an explanation. She needs to be clear with her reasons unless she may be lying to you. Ask her the reasons why did she decide to leave?

Arrange the desertion.
Does she need to go back immediately or can she wait for a week or two until you can find a new maid? Can she wait until the new maid get used to the working environment?

Ask yourself if you can handle the change.
It is always better to prepare yourself for the sudden changes. Some things will not be the same anymore. Relearn all the chores that you don’t usually do. This is the hardest part but you have to go back to zero even though you are expecting a new maid. Your new maid will have the adjustment period you will need to cope with this by being knowledgeable to the tasks.

Don’t let her leave with emotional issues unsettled.
We may have fights on the process but whatever happens, we must always let go of our maids without any grudge. This will help you both move on. After all, she still became our friend a part of the family. With today’s technology, we can always connect with her.

Understand the situation
Try to cover all the possible and impossible things and show sympathy towards his concern and give some time to think again.

Ask her to wait for sometime
Take some time and arrange other maid till that time so that your regular time can't be wasted and take help of her if she knows someone who can work on behalf of her.

Just Let go that time and the maid as she is more concern about the thing for that she is leaving and understand her by knowing the reasons and softly say Goodbye to her so that she can help you afterwards for searching other maid and you can easily cope up with the other person and she can also become your friend like the first maid.

Don't shout or fight with her, might be possible she is facing some issues regarding other things which can't help to work for you.

Sometimes Letting go is the the best option for everyone.

Why Does Corona Affect Children And Elderly People?

Covid-19 has been encountered to be highly ill-boding for the elderly and children. But why? Why are the elderly parents and kids not immune to Covid-19 ? Let us read. Whether it's China, Italy or India, it has been witnessed that the novel corona virus contaminates the elderly people and the young ones the most.  Two primary reasons contribute to this age-specific corona virus contamination viz. Immunity and Self-Healing powers.  It is a science-based fact that immunity reduces with the increase in age and the newborns also have low immunity power.  DNA is a genetic element that monitors most functions of the human body, however, it behaves sluggishly in newborns and elderly and so does not quickly & successfully go up against alien particles that enter the body.
